Review: Lykke Li, Main Stage

Atmosphere: Ever so slightly muted.

Atmosphere: Ever so slightly muted.

High: She appeared on stage draped in black flowing robes and shrouded in dry ice and delivered a distinctly monochrome set. The songs from Wounded Rhymes towered over the rest - although Dance Dance Dance from her first album also got the crowd shuffling.

Low: While she has an electrifying presence in smaller venues she almost seemed lost on the biggest stage at the picnic and you could see the crowd's attention wander during the more low tempo numbers and even the excellent Youth Knows No Pain lacked the punch it had at Tripod in April.

Quote: Are you ready to bust some moves.

Verdict: Do believe the hype.
