Review: Jacques Lu Cont, Little Big Tent

Atmosphere: Outside flames are billowing from Arcadia's massive steel structure

Atmosphere: Outside flames are billowing from Arcadia's massive steel structure. Inside the air is heavy with ecstatic sweat. Jacques Lu Cont plays hard from the get go and it's about to go off.

High: An epic mix of Scissor Sisters' take on Comfortably Numb.

Low: Nothing too significant, although a bigger tent would have been welcome as crowds were squashing through the external barriers for the extent of the set.

Quote of the set:
"Ow" - the over-enthusiastic guy who was dashing so quickly and blindly towards the tent that he ran into a pole.

Verdict:
Stuart Price, DJ, innovator, genius remixer and producer extraordinaire offered a masterclass in a largely techno-driven set. Shirts came off and shoulders were climbed.

Apart from throwing in his Grammy-nominated Mr Brightside remix, it was a pretty thumping stint for early in the night, but Price played classily and expertly throughout setting the tone for a hectic Friday night.
