Washington - A US federal judge in Florida said the former US attorney general, Ms Janet Reno, can be sued over last year's raid on the Miami home where the Cuban boy, Elian Gonzales, was staying, according to the group which filed the lawsuit.
US District Judge K. Michael Moore Tuesday rejected the US government's claim that Reno, who ordered the raid in June, 2000, is immune from liability because she was acting in her official capacity as US attorney general.
