The SDLP Assembly member for West Tyrone, Mr Eugene McMenamin, has condemned a paramilitary-style punishment attack which took place at 9 p.m. on Thursday in Stra bane, Co Tyrone. Two men in their 30s were shot in the knees and legs.
"We all thought that incidents like these were a thing of the past," Mr McMenamin said.
"Haven't the people of Strabane suffered enough over the past years, and indeed decades? The days of kangaroo courts should be well and truly behind us, but some people just don't seem to be getting the message."
