A post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday at Limerick Regional Hospital on the body of Mr Richard Hurley (43), of Redgate, Co Clare, a businessman who died while swimming at Kilkee last Sunday. On Saturday a rescue boat went to his aid while he was taking part in the annual Kilkee Bay Swim.

Mr Hurley, a company director, was the son of the late Dermot Hurley, former managing director of Clune's tobacco factory, Limerick, and Mrs Breege Hurley. He is survived by his wife, Audrey, and ee Conway; two daughters and his mother, two brothers and five sisters.
