An Irish News poll has prompted an overwhelming response in favour of a new IRA ceasefire.

13,368, or 92 per cent, voted yes, while 1,188, 8 per cent, voted no.
The newspaper said the response was the biggest of all the telephone polls it had conducted. It illustrated that the IRA should now focus on the public consensus for a new ceasefire.
