Gardaí are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on the N15 at Cartron, Bundoran Road, Sligo on Tuesday 9th December around six pm.

A female pedestrian (86) suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a car. She was brought to Sligo General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. A post mortem is to be arranged.
