Police have arrested a man in connection with a sectarian stabbing in Belfast overnight.
The victim was stabbed four times during violence in which nationalists and loyalists clashed in the Whitewell Road area of the city at about 11 p.m. last night.
He suffered wounds to the back, neck and face, but his injuries are not life threatening.
The police are treating the attack as attempted murder.
