People queuing at an ATM machine ignored the pleas of a woman who was coerced by two heroin addicts to withdraw £350 for them.

Nicola Read (25), of Ashington Close, Cabra, was jailed for three years at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. She pleaded guilty to the robbery and false imprisonment of Ms Barbara Bullman (23) on July 25th, 2000. Her coaccused, Catherine O'Shea (30), was jailed in May for three years.

Ms Bullman was accosted at about 10 p.m. She was robbed and then walked to a bank machine at Doyle's Corner. The three people at the machine ignored her pleas for help.
