Proceeds from last night's opening performance of a new comedy by the Curtain Up company at the Crypt theatre in Dublin went to the ISPCC freephone service, Childline. Written and directed by Patrick Walshe, Lightning Strikes! stars Peter Turner, June Simmons and Catherine Deegan. The play is set in the green room of a west-end theatre in London as the cast prepares to put on a new play. It continues until Saturday.
