THE Prince of Wales and the Duke of York arrived at Balmoral yesterday for a "summit" to discuss the future of the British monarchy. Prince Edward has already joined Queen Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen Mother, and the Princess Royal was expected to arrive later last night.

Some of the options to be discussed include ending the monarch's historical role as head of the Church of England and allowing heirs to the throne to marry Catholics.

Actress Patsy Kensit has flown back to Britain to join Oasis singer boyfriend Liam Gallagher and lashed out at those who compare her to Yoko Ono.

She said she was dismayed that some people had taken the Beatles/Oasis analogy too far and made her scapegoat for the band's troubles in the same way that Yoko was blamed for the break up of the Beatles more than 25 years ago.
