GERMAN Chancellor Helmut Kohl is to join President Bill Clinton on the re election campaign trail tomorrow in Milwaukee, one of the most German of US cities and the industrial heart of Wisconsin.

Kohl then goes to Washington on Friday to meet Senator Bob Dole and Defence Secretary William Perry.

A spokeswoman for Princess Diana denied a newspaper report yesterday that the princess planned to buy the New York apartment where Jackie Onassis once lived.

A woman has sued actor and Oscar winning movie director Mel Gibson, alleging his dog bit and injured her.
