A part-time Royal Irish Regiment soldier is to stand trial charged with murdering his wife

A part-time Royal Irish Regiment soldier is to stand trial charged with murdering his wife. Mr Stephen Fulton (54), of Old Rectory Heights, Cookstown, Co Tyrone, is accused of killing his 34-year-old wife, Corien, on June 4th this year. She was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a bedroom at the couple's bungalow.

Mr Fulton was remanded in custody when he appeared at Cookstown Magistrates' Court yesterday.
