London - British doctors launched a trial yesterday to test a new chemotherapy regime that could improve the survival of women with breast cancer.

More then 3,000 women throughout Britain will be recruited for the TACT study that is designed to determine if the drug Taxotere and chemotherapy, which has been successful in treating women with advanced breast cancer, is also effective in patients with earlier stages of the disease.
