London - Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has a new girlfriend - a 31-year old ex-model who lost a leg in a traffic accident, the News of the World reported yesterday. But Sir Paul denied the romance in a statement, saying he and Ms Heather Mills had been working together on a recording project.
Ms Mills is a regular guest at McCartney's country house, the paper claimed, quoting a source close to the family as saying the relationship "is an open secret in the family."
Ms Mills, who lost her left leg six years ago when she was knocked over by a police motorcycle, met Sir Paul two months ago at a charity gala.
