Navan Mining said today it has had further promising results from the first phase of its drilling programme near Krumovgrad in south-east Bulgaria.
"To date 10 diamond drill holes have been completed, nine on the Ada Tepe and one on the Kuklitsa prospects," it said.
Additional drill rigs have recently been mobilised to supplement the existing drill rig and a total of four rigs are now in operation with two working on the Ada Tepe and two on the Kuklitsa prospect areas, it added.
The Irish mining group noted the trenching programme is also continuing on two of the four prospects at Ada Tepe and Synap.
