Belgian mobile phone operator Mobistar today announced it had agreed to buy 90 per cent of Luxembourg mobile phone operator Voxmobile for €80 million.
Mobistar, which is majority-owned by France Telecom, said Voxmobile's management would retain 10 per cent of the company's capital.
Voxmobile has a 20 per cent share of the Luxembourg mobile market, behind Lux GSM, which has about 50 per cent, and Tango, with around 30 per cent.
The transaction is expected to close by July 2nd at the latest, Mobistar said.
