A man found guilty at Waterford Circuit Court of advertising child pornography on the Internet and possessing child pornography was sentenced to two and a half years in prison this afternoon.
Thomas Muldoon, a single man with an address at Ashley Court, Waterford was also given a concurrent 18-month sentence for handling a stolen laptop computer.
Muldoon pleaded guilty to committing the offences in May 1999 when he was living in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
