A 65-year-old Galway city man has been charged with the sexual abuse of two children over a 20-year period.
The man, who cannot be named, faces 12 sample charges of indecently assaulting one girl between January 1982 and December 1986. He is further charged with four counts of raping the second child in 1998 and 1999.
Judge Mary Fahy remanded the man on continuing bail to appear again before Galway District Court on January 11th.
