The man holding four staff hostage at a bank near Buckingham Palace in London has given himself up.
The gunman was surrounded by armed police at the HSBC branch in Buckingham Palace Road, central London.
A wide area around the bank was cordoned off, causing traffic chaos.
Police immediately treated the incident as a hostage situation, calling in the negotiator and armed response teams.

No-one other than the four employees was in the bank with the gunman.
The bank is just a few hundred yards from Scotland Yard.
