A three-year-old Co Louth girl, missing since yesterday, has been found safe and well, gardaí said.
Katie McGauley, from Maple Close, Dundalk was taken from Church Street in the town yesterday evening. She was believed to be with her estranged father, Mr Paul McGauley of Bridge Street, Dundalk.
A Garda spokeswoman said a man had been arrested after the girl's discovery in the coastal town of Carlingford, Co Louth.
Katie was taken to hospital for examination as a precautionary measure.
