A man (72) died in Co Galway this morning after he was hit by trailer.
The trailer became detatched from a four-wheeled drive vehicle in Ballinasloe at 10.40 a.m. and hit the pedestrian.
He was taken to Portiunclula hospital where he later died. He has not yet been named.
