Lifeboat crews around the coastline are hosting an open day today when volunteers will put their craft and equipment through their paces.
All 222 stations attached to the Royal National Life-Boat Institution (RNLI) in Ireland and Britain are participating, with visitors able to view equipment and talk to crews from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
