Neil Lennon said he is considering his future with

Northern Ireland after he was abused by a small section of fans during the 4-0 defeat to Norway at Windsor Park.

Lennon, who is a Catholic, was booed by a tiny minority of bigots because of his move to Celtic in December.

The midfielder was substituted at half-time - but not because of the abuse - and he will talk over his international future with his family.

Lennon (29), who has won 36 caps, said: "I hope to be back.

"I will go back and talk things over with my club and my family and we will take things from there."

The majority of the 7,500 crowd cheered Lennon's every touch and he appreciated their support.

"In the main it was brilliant," he said. "I thought a lot of people got behind me. I was very touched by the support."
