THE victim of last week's fatal stabbing at a fast food restaurant in O'Connell Street, Dublin, was buried yesterday in his native town. Speaking at the funeral Mass for Mr Liam Martin (23), from Derrymoyle, Carlow, Father Tom Little told the congregation at St Clare's Church: "To carry a knife is walking down the road of murder if one intends to use it to harm others."

Mr Martin was employed by Group 4, the Dublin security company. Many of his work colleagues attended his burial yesterday.
