A 16-year-old youth who survived a single vehicle car crash which claimed the lives of four teenagers in Kerry last month has been discharged from hospital. Darragh Jones from Farranfore had to be cut from the wreckage of a silver Hyundai Accent which crashed on the Killarney to Mallow Road at around 7.10am on August 25th.

He was rushed by ambulance to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee before being transferred to Cork University Hospital.

It’s expected that gardaí will seek to speak with Mr Jones in the coming days to try and establish what exactly happened.
