Irish Paralympian Helen Kearney has added a bronze medal to the silver she won on Sunday by placing third in a dressage event this evening.

Kearney (23), aboard Mister Cool, scored 78.450 and was sitting in the silver medal position with just two riders left to compete.

The Wicklow rider was pushed into third place when Laurentia Tan from Singapore posted a score of 79.000.

Kearney took silver in the individual dressage Grade 1A championship on Sunday, securing a team bronze for Ireland in the process.

She has been competing in para equestrian dressage for the last eight years.

Team Ireland has claimed nine medals at the games - five gold, two silver and two bronze.
