An attempt by a Donegal man to swim 24 miles from Tory to Arranmore island is due to be made today. The Donegal Coastal Challenge is being undertaken by Mr Henry O'Donnell, to raise funds for the Children's Hospital, Temple Street, MRI scanner appeal.
The swim was postponed yesterday because of a high swell.
Mr O'Donnell is attempting to establish a new international swim route over a distance greater than that of the English Channel.
