Deirdre Falvey has been appointed editor of the Weekend supplement. She joined The Irish Times in 1994 and has been Chief Sub-editor of the Features department since 1998.
Jim Cusack has been appointed Security Editor. He joined The Irish Times in 1983, was Northern Editor from 1985 to 1987 and has been Security Correspondent since 1989.
