Majella Donoghue (30) died after becoming ill on flight from South Africa with fiance

The remains of a Co Mayo woman, who died in London earlier this month following a flight from Cape Town, South Africa, with her fiance, will be repatriated on Saturday.

Ms Donoghue, an employee of medical company Boston Scientific at its base in Galway City, became ill on Sunday week last as she travelled to London on a flight with her fiance, Barry Doherty.

During their stay in Cape Town, the couple collected an engagement ring. Following her death in the London hospital to which she was rushed, Mr Doherty posted a photograph of them together in South Africa on Facebook.
