Ireland have captured the Raymond Trophy by winning the Men's Home Internationals at Ballybunion GC in Kerry today.
The host nations secured the win, their first since 1991, with a halved match against Scotland in their third and final match today.
Mark Gannon, Irish Team Captain, paid tribute to his players after the result was confirmed: "This is a wonderful result for Ireland, all the players showed great team spirit and commitment, my congratulations to them all."
In the other tie, England were beaten by Wales and collect the wooden spoon finishing in last place.
