Jerusalem - The Israeli Defence Minister, Mr Binyamin Ben Eliezer, said yesterday that Iran was not far from having nuclear weapons capability and posed a serious threat.
"What's happening in Iran is endangering not only Israel but also the stability of the Middle East," he told reporters. He said the Islamic republic already possessed biological and chemical warheads and was "close to achieving nuclear capability."
