Investigations are to begin this morning into the cause of a fire that damaged a Co Tyrone furniture store last night.
The furniture shop and a store at the rear of the building on Cookstown’s Fountain Street were badly damaged in the blaze.
Five fire appliances from three towns joined in the effort to bring the blaze under control after firefighters were called to the incident at 7.30pm yesterday.
Fire crews prevented the blaze from spreading to other buildings and there were no reports of injuries last night.
The store is believed to have suffered the worst of the fire damage, while the shop was extensively smoke damaged.
A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Fire Service said it was too early to identify a cause for the fire, but investigations are expected to get under way today.
