Canadian folk singer killed by coyotes

HALIFAX – Taylor Mitchell, an up-and-coming Canadian folk singer, has died after being attacked by coyotes in a national park in eastern Canada.

Mitchell (19) was hiking alone in the Breton Highlands national park, Nova Scotia, on Tuesday when the attack occurred.

Man (112) marries 17-year-old girl

MOGADISHU – Ahmed Muhamed Dhore, a Somalian who claims he is 112 years old, says he has realised a dream by marrying a 17-year-old girl.

Mr Dhore, who says he was born in 1897, already has 13 children by five wives, but said he would like more with his newest, Safiya Abdulle.

He has 114 children and grandchildren. His eldest son is 80. – ( Guardianservice)

Former Serb police arrested

SARAJEVO – Bosnian police arrested three former Serb policemen suspected of taking part in genocide against Muslims in Srebrenica in 1995.

Dusko Jevic (52) and Zoran Ilic (36) were arrested in Srebrenica, while Mendeljev Djuric (49) was arrested in the northeastern town of Bijeljina. – (Reuters)
