The Ballymaloe Cookery School, in Shanagarry, Co Cork, has several new courses planned this year as part of its extensive programme. Darina Allen will be conducting courses on Indian cooking, Thai and Vietnamese cooking and Mexican cooking, and the range of lifestyle courses has expanded to take in paint finishes, weddings, extra gardening courses and a number of courses by Tony Humphreys, including The Power of Negative Thinking, in which Humphreys explains how "negative" thoughts are really "creative and protective weapons against emotional perils". Not sure what that has to do with making soda bread, but there you go.
