Kilkenny's Henry Shefflin and Philly Larkin along with Tipperary's Ger O'Grady have all been cleared by the GAC to play in Monday's National Hurling League final.

The three players participation in the Croke Park showdown had been in doubt after they were summoned to appear at headquarters last night to review video evidence of their bad-tempered league clash last month.

However, having examined all the evidence available the GAC decided to take no action, clearing all involved to play on Monday afternoon.

Both Kilkenny and Tipperary delayed announcing their sides until after last night's meeting. With both Shefflin and Larkin available for selection, Brian Cody is able to choose from an almost full-strength panel while Tipperary will be without the services of Eamonn Corcoran and captain Brian O'Meara.
