Behaviour and attitude survey: Researchers at UCD are canvassing views via 5,000 household surveys on nationality, Ireland’s position in the world and family life.

This is part of an international research programme which has been investigating attitudes and behaviour in Ireland for nearly 25 years. The survey aims to examine attitudes to family life and national identity. The research is funded by the Department of Children and the Irish Research Council.

Hearing clinic: A free mobile hearing screening clinic will be available at over 300 locations nationally throughout his year.

The mobile hearing clinic operates five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday) and features testing equipment which can pinpoint the frequencies a person is missing.

The clinics, being run by Hidden Hearing, expect to test 8,000 people nationally.

Connected Health – a joint initiative between the Digital Hub Development Agency (DHDA) and St James’s Hospital, Dublin – is aimed at supporting digital technology companies to develop solutions to common healthcare challenges.
