Theatre-makers Mark Storor and Anne Ledgard will be joined by Dr Emma Curtis, paediatrician at the National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght, in a discussion about how best the arts can be used in healthcare settings for children.

Anyone keen to keep fit and have fun while fundraising this weekend can join in a 5km or 10km walk/run dressed as Santa. Private funding for palliative home care for people who are terminally ill or other sick people who have no means to pay for their care is available through the Queen’s Institute of District Nursing.

This Dublin-based charity distributes grants according to applications it receives.
