Gardaí are asking witnesses to two crashes in Kildare yesterday to come forward.

Gardaí are asking witnesses to two crashes in Kildare yesterday to come forward.

The first crash happened at 5.30 p.m. on the N4 at Pitchfordstown, Kilcock when a van and an articulated lorry travelling in the same direction collided.

The male van driver was seriously injured and is being treated in Blanchardstown Hospital.

At Courtown, on the M4 main Dublin to Enfield motorway four cars collided at 8.30 p.m.
