Gardaí have named the man whose body was found in a field near Curragha, Co Meath last night.

He was Kieran Smyth (39) of Ravensdale, Dundalk.
A garda spokesman said that preliminary post mortem results indicate he died of gunshot wounds to the head.
He was found with his arms tied behind his back and his legs bound.
A motorist found the body at 3.30 p.m. It was lying parallel to the lane, in the entrance to a field.
A murder hunt has been launched.
The scene was sealed off last night and examined by Garda technical experts as well by assistant State pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy.
Chief Supt Michael Finnegan of the Louth/Meath Garda division said: "We are appealing for anybody in the Curragha/ Kilbrew area who saw anything suspicious today or even last night [Thursday] to contact gardaí in Ashbourne."
