PARIS - The French government flew some 15 Africans out of the country yesterday, ignoring protests against its immigration policies and using an air force plane after trade unions threatened to block the flight. Eyewitnesses saw the taken aboard an Airbus which took off from Evreux as thousands of angry demonstrators marched through Paris to demand that the expulsion orders be repealed.
