Mr Gunn died from stab wounds to his chest and back. It is believed the 28-year-old separated father was murdered elsewhere and his body then dumped in Dunsoghly Lane, off the old Finglas to Ashbourne Road.

Gardaí believe Mr Gunn was out in Dublin city centre on January 3 and was last seen in the Summerhill area a few hours later.

Two other people were arrested on April 28th and released without charge as files are prepared for the DPP.
