Some 41kg of cannabis resin with an estimated street value of £410,000 was seized in Dublin at the weekend in a joint operation between Customs officials in Co Wexford and the Garda National Drugs Unit. Five people were arrested following the search of two cars stopped by gardai in Castle knock on Saturday. Three men and a woman, all in their thirties, were being held last night at Blanchardstown Garda station. The fifth person, a man in his fifties, was being held in Rosslare. All were arrested under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
