A FIFTH teenager has been arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of two Polish men in a screwdriver attack in Dublin last month. The 16-year-old boy was arrested yesterday and was still being questioned last night about the double killing.
The latest arrest follows the arrest of three male teenagers - aged 19, 16 and 15 years - and a 14-year-old girl in the days after the February 23rd attack.
All those arrested to date were released without charge with files on the case being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Pawel Kalite (29) and Marius Szwajkos (27) were stabbed in the throat and head with a screwdriver. Both men had come to Ireland last summer and were working in a crash repair centre at the time of their murders.
They were attacked after they became involved in an argument with teenagers outside shops on Benbulben Road, Drimnagh, a short distance from where they lived, at 6.50pm on Saturday, February 23rd. Both men died from their injuries at St James's Hospital in the days after the attack.
