The FAI will hold a press conference this afternoon to outline details of a landmark decision by FIFA ruling on a transfer involving Crumlin United.

The ruling was in favour of a claim made in support of transfer-related payments for Crumlin United in relation to the transfer of Robbie Keane to Tottenham Hotspur.

The ruling enables Irish schoolboy clubs who train and educate young players to claim substantial six-figure sums on foot of the transfer outside Ireland of players such as Robbie Keane and Damien Duff.
