EU foreign ministers yesterday expressed sadness at the killings of the Quinn boys and sent a message of sympathy to their family. The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Andrews, said: "The two communities must find ways of resolving their differences in line with the spirit of the Good Friday Agreement."
The foreign ministers' statement said: "The General Affairs Council expressed its deep sorrow at the deaths of three children in Northern Ireland and offered its condolences to the family of the boys. It reiterated its continuing support for the Good Friday Agreement and called for calm and restraint so that the peace process can take root."
