- Association of Citizenship Teachers Conference
The Association of Citizenship Teachersis holding its annual conference on Saturday, October 3rd at the Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham, Dublin. The guest speaker is Emily Logan, Ombudsman for Children, and the theme of the conference is the rights of children. - Open Day at Saint Patricks Cathedral Choir School
St Patrick’s Cathedral Choir School on Patrick St, Dublin is holding an open afternoon for prospective choristers on Sunday, October 4th at 2pm. A tour will be followed by the chance to watch the choir rehearsing for evensong at 3.15pm. Tea will be served after evensong and there will be an opportunity to speak to those involved in the music.
