Evening classes return

If you missed out on the opportunity for a self-improvement course before Christmas, you have the chance to make amends

If you missed out on the opportunity for a self-improvement course before Christmas, you have the chance to make amends. The evening class season is about to get into full swing again and enrolments are currently taking place at venues around the State. Some courses are continuing from last term, but there is a wide variety of short hobby, leisure and special interests courses which start anew this month.

Most community schools, VEC colleges and private course providers have produced brochures for the new term and so a quick call to your local college will get you one. Libraries are also an excellent source of information on what courses are happening locally.

University College Dublin has an active and extensive programme of adult education courses and its new brochure is now available. Get your copy by telephoning (01) 269 5542.

Those interested in getting the European Computer Driving Licence in one fell swoop could do so on January 29/30th at Terenure College. For details telephone (01) 490 4621.
