A sawn-off shotgun, ammunition and cannabis have been seized in a raid on crime gangs in Dublin.
The firearm was recovered when a man in his 30s was searched at Clune Road in the Finglas area of the city last night.
The man was detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
In a separate raid, a 40-year-old man was arrested after cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €88,000 was found in a house in Finglas.
The man is being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
