A drug dealer who was made homeless and whose car was burned by anti drug activists has been jailed for six years by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Mark Doyle (32), who was housed in Clondalkin by Focus Point after he was forced to flee his home in Dublin city, also had to leave there after his new neighbours objected to addicts allegedly "shooting up" in his front garden.
Garda Marianne Cusack told Judge Kieran O'Connor that heroin with a street value of £100 was found at his home in a Garda search last August.
Doyle admitted the heroin was his and that he had it for sale to help feed his own habit. He had 24 convictions for petty offences, none drug related.
